Job Description

Bachelors degree Engineering or Quantity Surveying with a minimum of 10 years experience in a Commercial Management role
MRICS Preferred
Experience dealing with hospitality related projects is added value.
Experience of working against set targets, service levels and quality levels.
Experience of managing contractors and/or delivery based teams
Energetic Self Starter with a positive attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with consultants and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for all Commercial aspects.
Responsible for Cost Management of the respective project(s) with respect to Cost Planning, cost reporting, change management and Contract Close out in liaison with all related parties including external
Responsible for the development of project(s) through the direction of control documents and instruction from the Senior management team and Projects in charge.
Assists with the preparation of Development feasibility studies, concept master planning etc. to develop the initial briefing requirements for Consultants, specifically cost advice and planning
Assists with the development of the procurement strategy for the delivery of the specified components, both in terms of design, construction and where applicable, operation and maintenance companies
Responsible for providing cost reports and information to Omran Senior Management Team and other internal and external stakeholders, as maybe required
Manage and coordinate with Omran Procurement all services as per the approved Contracting and Procurement Procedures
Manage the compilation of the commercial assessment of all tender submissions (either internally or using a Third Party)
Manage Third Party cost consultants for the provision of cost plans, estimates and reports.
Manage the compilation of the Contract Document, and execution with the respective Contractual parties and coordinate with Omran Procurement
Contract Administration
Contract Strategy Development with the respective Project Manager
Claims management
Develops and then ensures timely implementation and ongoing monitoring of the contracts /procurement strategies, as appropriate to the Business Support functions.
Develops and implements plans to ensure the business support performance against service level standards and monitors and maintains their effectiveness.
To ensure that knowledge management and data capture processes are adhered to by the department and reuse existing information efficiently.
